SIA South Australian Safety Symposium
May 2016
The 2016 South Australian Safety Symposium two day conference brought together business executives, industry regulators, OHS academics and trade body representatives to inform and discuss with participants safety issues which are present in industry. Issues such as transitional legislation, psychological health, healthy workplaces and priority disorders were the main themes of the conference.
Melinda Maher presented the topic of compliance which discussed the relevance of compliance in the workplace and whether if the focus should be around prevention rather than implementing mandatory regulations.
Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce Guest Speaker

Go Green Consulting was invited by the Northern Territory Chamber of Commerce to give a presentation about the importance of Quality Management Systems and ISO9001 in Darwin. Melinda Maher presented an informative and engaging presentation focusing on the benefits of a Quality Management System, what certification to ISO9001 involves, how it ISO9001 is achieved, the recent update and what impacts may affect businesses.

The AusRAIL 2013 conference was held in Sydney. The theme for AusRAIL 2013 was ‘Driving the cost out of Rail’ which focused on delivering more and costing less.
Resource Industry Conference & Trade Expo 2015, Port Augusta

GMUSG and SACOME have come together to host a conference and promote long-term sustainability of the resource industry. The conference is industry owned, which represents 115 contractors and suppliers to South Australia’s resource and energy sector. The event has attracted over 390 delegates and 40 trade exhibitors. The design of the event is to stimulate; provide exploration for business opportunities; provide development of business relationships and profit from doing business in resources and energy.
This event has provided Go Green Consulting with an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and network with other businesses who are also passionate about the resource and energy sector.
